Overposting, what killed myspace

There was time when myspace was cool, I personally would spend hours doing absolutly nothing but change my background or chat or just look at the crap people posted. But pretty soon my news feed was constantly filled with nothing but crap (and I realized facebook existed and there were more people on it ), I began to go on there less and less till pretty soon I just abandond ship and jumped on the facebook bandwagon, and seeing as theres only pedofiles left on the website so did you.

I liked the fact that people I actually knew were my friends and it didnt take 20 years to load a profile, and since 2009 Ive enjoyed it.

Oh yea I got a twitter too, mostly to follow news not so much people I know but I do follow people I know.


At first, there was just that person on facebook that was always on, posting every ten seconds about nothing, it was simple harmless stupidity that I laughed at because they were "that guy".

Then another started

Then another.

Then another..

Then another...

Then.... Well you get the picture, its turned into an epidemic!

Theres five types of them:

1. "Let me just post to post"

I log on and I see straight crap from one person, they post BS just to post BS every 10 seconds, its stupid! Why do you do that??? Attention I know (this is the common theme with all overposters) but what seperates this overposter from the rest is the fact it is unnecessary, no point to it, no direction, this might be the worst!

2. "My life always sucks"

Im not saying every sad/bad post posted is BS or annoying but when you post why you life sucks every single day, well, you can only get so much sympathy. There is a point where it becomes ridiculous. Oh yea these are the people where you read the updates and think "Waaaagh! SUCK IT UP!"

3. The play by play announcer of their life

Alright, so I'm on these social networks to keep up with news of my friends and learn about them. Things like "I just got a new car!" "Im dating blab bah blah" or even "Gonna go up to blah today" are what make me like these networks, its the people that literally post their entire day. I decided to follow a friend on Twitter and soon I was bombarded daily by texts telling me every single thing they did I knew what they were always doing from sun up to sun down even during the night. Theres such a thing as too much information!

4. The Omg Girl/L33t speaker

All of these fall under the category of "my life sucks" but what sets these people apart in their own catagory is the fact +h3y @11 +yp3 l1k3 r3t@r[)$!! The l33t speaker is the lesser of two evils, theyre just annoying as hell to read but the OMG Girls..... Theyre the ones that you read and think NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOUR STUPID STUPID DRAMA ROTFLOL :) SHUT UP GOSSIP GIRL!

5. Mr/Mrs Controversy

And here my friends is what I see as the bottom of the totem pole. These are the people that try and piss you off every time they post something, and a lot of the time they are unsuccessful at this and even when they are, it is just douchy. Its stuuuuuuuuuuupid!

Please stop overposting, I hate that it happens with my friends its stupid so just limit yourself for goodness sakes!

so this is pretty much where my life paused, which isnt a bad thing as its helped me find out my true friends, become a better person blah blah blah (insert angsty teen speak). I havent really done much since this day as Im waiting to ship in November, Navy, and I dont have a job....

Oh yea thats my girlfriend next to me and well this pretty much sums her up, wait.....

 this does, shes one of the last truly good people left shes got...... whatre they called, oh, right, morals. (its cool I dont have many either so dont feel insulted) Ive put her though the wringer like no other and she is as strong and as smart as they come shes settin me straight.

Music is my addiction I try and listen to all sorts but my favorite is below, I just love all the arts in general they are a major force in my life.
